The NC3122 Dual Port Fast Ethernet NIC provides a low cost dual port solution for workgroups to high-end servers that require redundancy and high performance. This Network Interface Controller is a high performance Ethernet LAN adapter with two fully integrated 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX LAN 82558 controllers connected on the secondary PCI bus of the 21152 PCI-to-PCI bridge. The 82558 Ethernet controller consists of both the MAC controller and the 10/100 Mbps physical layer interface. The controller also supports emerging standards for system manageability and power management, such as ACPI. The 21152 bridge chip complies fully with Revision 2.1 of the PCI Local Bus Specification and Revision 1.1 of the PCI-to-PCI Bridge Architecture Specification.
